On the Road Again
Once the waiting is over the busy work begins. Over the last week we have spent quite a bit of time on the road. I traveled to Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Kansas for personnel exchanges with other Rabbit breeders as a breeder not a rep of LFV. I also spent time fulfilling my duties to the Ohio National Guard. Thankfully I made it home from these adventures before the snow storm struck our area this week.
In my absence Christopher continued the work without me and visit our friends at Hope springs farm. We are working to help Mark fulfill his dream of preserving and sharing history and rare poultry, while maintaining the sanity of his loving spouse and children (needless to say it can be a narrow lane to travel) To help in this endeavor they began the construction of a series of Duck houses and feeding tractors. The first step was repair and prep the site which took longer than we thought it would so the next visit we should begin construction of the first new house. We would have done more but it snowed the next two days (yeah for spring). With the snow melting as I write this, we should be able to get a bit more done and prep some of our grow beds for this years production. Deven
